Australian anti-steroid propaganda reveals this years current seizure statistics.

"The apparent increasing use of steroids by teenage boys comes as new figures reveal a significant jump in the amount of steroids being smuggled into Australia.

In the year to September 4 there were 401 seizures of illegal steroids at airports and mail exchanges - a 14.7 per cent increase on the 342 seizures for the same period last year and a 23.9 per cent jump on the 303 in 2007. There were 1878 steroid seizures in 2008-09, compared with 1832 in 2007-08.

Customs says most of the steroids - such as methenolone, stanozolol, boldenone and methandrostenolone, which cannot be imported into Australia without a permit from the Therapeutic Goods Administration - are sold on the black market."
