Maverick of Powerline Labs sentenced in steroid-smuggling conspiracy.


"Schrage was sentenced by U.S. Chief District Judge Fernando J. Gaitan in Springfield on Monday to 20 months in federal prison without parole. The judge also ordered Schrage to forfeit $333,379 to the government, which includes $36,701 that was seized by law enforcement officers, a $167,665 money judgment, all money or property (including $82,783) that was the subject of illegal wire transfers to China and $46,230 in lieu of forfeiting the residence at 1173 Marble Drive, Nixa, as well as a 2002 Cadillac Escalade.

Schrage caused multiple Western Union wire transfers totaling nearly $83,000 to be made as payment for more than 32 kilograms of anabolic steroids shipped from China between Feb. 28, 2005, and March 26, 2007."

"Powerline advertised various oral and injectable anabolic steroid products such as PL Oxandrozolic and PL PowerTest 400 on website at ‘powerlinemex.com’ and ‘powerline.com.mx’. Maverick also owned various bodybuilding websites such as ‘renegade muscle.com’ and ‘meat headz.com’ and had many connections in the world of bodybuilding."
