Customs officers have netted 1,331 vials of steroids hidden in the false bottom of a suitcase searched at a Sydney airport.
A 19-year-old Lebanese man was charged with attempted drug smuggling after flying from Dubai to Sydney on Sunday.
Scientific analysis revealed the vials found in the baggage contained the performance and image enhancing drug testosterone, Customs and Border Protection said.
Customs spokesman Richard Janeczko said officers were cracking down on steroid smugglers.
