Former Fever player sentenced to a year for assault despite roid rage excuses.

Michael Rayfield Hodges, 25, had been using steroids to "bulk up" and was suffering from psychosis during the November attacks. He reportedly has no memory of either event.

Hodges told a psychiatrist late last year while undergoing treatment at Eastern State Hospital that he had most recently been taking steroids "for one month in order to build himself up."

He admitted that the particular steroid he "was taking messed me up."
