Judge Douglas Van Dyk also told Brian Jackson not to use or possess any steroids or human growth hormone, nor any alcohol or drugs and to pay a $107 fine. Jackson, who shares the name but is not the former Knappa High and Oregon State basketball star, must also avoid contact with the accused officer, Jason Deason, who resigned from the force last summer during an FBI investigation.
"This is not over here today," said the judge, letting Jackson know that he'll be back in court if he doesn't follow orders."
