British bust gives insight into the mysterious world of the UK's personal use amounts rule.

A convenience store owner is alleged to have had Karachi Sustanon, Proviron and sleeping aids on sale. UK customs inspected one of the padded envelopes posted in Pakistan and found the drugs. During the following 16 days seven more bags were intercepted by customs.

The eight bags contained, in total, 5,280 sleeping tablets, 368 ampules of testosterone and 1,680 tablets of Proviron. A further 1,830 sleeping tablets, 320 Proviron tablets and 130 ampules of Sustanon.

The accused told police he suffered from medical conditions which were helped by the drugs and he had agreed to the suggestion of a friend that they be mailed directly from Pakistan, where they were cheaper to buy than in UK.

Customs estimated he had enough sleeping tablets to last him more than nine years, enough Sustanon for four years and 500 days supply of Proviron.

Using the figures from his trial we can get an idea of what UK customs considers to be a personal use amount of gear :

Total seizure of 500 ampules of Sustanon and 2000 Proviron tabs.

500 amps divided by 208 week ( 4 years ) = 2.5 amps a week.
2000 tabs divided by 500 days = 4 tabs a day.

2.5 amps of Sustanon 250 a week + 4 tabs a day of Proviron 25mg.

That's 625 mg week of injectables + 100 mg a day of orals, seems like a reasonably fair amount to me :-)
