Soldier and his wife busted for homebrewing steroids.

A Fort Bragg soldier and his wife were arrested Thursday after drug agents searched their home off Elliott Bridge Road and seized anabolic steroids, authorities said. Christopher Dwight Foust, 39, and 33-year-old Jennifer Ann Foust are charged with possessing a controlled substance with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver and maintaining a drug house, according to a release from the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.

They live on the 800 block of Fredonia Drive, the release said.

Narcotics officers and the department's Special Response Team obtained a warrant to search the couple's home, the release said.

Officers found anabolic steroids, syringes and a manual detailing how to produce, prepare and process the illegal drugs, the release said.

Bond for the Fousts was set at $5,000 each. Christopher Foust was placed in the custody of Fort Bragg Military Police, the release said.
