Post removed just in case it really was a dumb April Fools joke that ran a day ahead of schedule :-)

  1. PLease know that the article referenced in this story is an April Fools joke mis-advisedly published by the University at Buffalo student newspaper.

The original article was accompanied by this disclaimer

"We’re just going to throw this out there. THIS ARTICLE IS A LIE. A BIG, FAT LIE! Nothing, with the exception of our advertisements, is real. Absolutely nothing. Not one single solitary thing is. If you believe any of it, we applaud you, but most importantly, we will pity your soul. Real news will be back on Friday."

  3. I don't recall seeing the disclaimer and there was no hint of humor in the story itself.

I hope if this Maynard guy actually exists he kicks the ass of the guy who wrote it :-)
