It’s been revealed by the Interior Ministry that more than 40 arrests which took place across Sweden in a recent operation against doping crimes targeted a network which was supplied from Málaga province. Forty two arrests were made in Sweden and one in Fuengirola, and it’s understood that 5 million doses of anabolic steroids have been confiscated.
A number of property searches took place in both countries, and in Sweden, 40 bank accounts have been embargoed by the authorities. The Ministry said 2.5 million € in cash have also been seized.
The network used courier companies to distribute the illegal substances, mainly to Sweden, but also to customers elsewhere in Europe.
