"Court records released Monday show the arrest Friday of a Department of Public Safety trooper stemmed from his alleged sale here of $800 in steroids.
“A cooperating individual contacted and negotiated with Jeffrey Jerman the purchase of a steroid cycle,” states an affidavit filed by Texas Ranger Wayne Matthews to obtain an arrest warrant.
Matthews said he observed the transaction on Sept. 7 at 300 Main St. in Kerrville, the address of an H-E-B store.
Citing the ongoing investigation, Matthews declined Monday to say whether Jerman, 33, drove his patrol unit or was in uniform at the time of the alleged sale."
