Undeground lab raided in Utah.

"Iron/Garfield Counties Narcotics Task Force officers arrested a local businessman, Friday, after receiving information about and subsequently clearing out a steroids lab at his residence, said task force officer Melissa Fritz-Fuller on Wednesday.

Mark X was arrested on charges of possession, manufacture and distribution, as well as possession of a clandestine laboratory, a second-degree felony, according to arrest reports.

The lab was similar to one used to make meth, Fritz-Fuller said, and officers found hazardous powders imported from China to make the steroids, as well as glassware, bottles and labeling.

The powders, testosterone and anabolic steroids found are controlled substances, which can be prosecuted both locally and federally, Fritz-Fuller added.

The officer also noted that selling steroids on the streets is a very lucrative business, sometimes with a 1,500 percent markup from a real prescription, but with more risks without the sterile environment for manufacture.

She estimated Sherratt possessed near $200,000 worth of powders for the steroids, paying only a couple hundred for the Chinese imports.

The task force is still investigating the case, but has evidence to believe Sherratt had a fairly large local clientele, at local gyms."

Hoping a reader will comment and let us know the brand name his products were sold under.
