New HGH research suggests low dosages may not give full health benefits.

"Despite significant reduction in cholesterol levels in adults with growth hormone deficiency treated with recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH), taking lower doses of rhGH may not result in improvement in cardiac structure and function."

"Although the study was underpowered, individuals taking lower doses of GH may not have improvement in cardiac structure and function, despite significant improvement in lipid profiles and normalization of IGF-1," concluded Dr. Frisch"

Further studies are needed to find an optimal GH dose that would avoid supraphysiological IGF-1 levels and the associated toxicities, acknowledged the investigators."
