Follow up story on Florida's busted pain med pill mill doctors.

"Some doctors disciplined Florida's medical oversight boards often allow doctors to continue prescribing pain drugs after they were disciplined or arrested. Some examples:

Dr. Enrique A. Gonzalez-Pujol

Problem: One of 17 people arrested in 2007 on charges of defrauding insurers of $8.5 million through false billings at five medical clinics, according to federal court records.

Result: Pleaded guilty to one count of making false statements to the state in order to make one of the clinics exempt from state inspections. Sentenced in March 2007 to two years of criminal probation. Also, state officials in October 2007 put his medical license on probation for two years, banned him from owning or operating a health facility in that time and ordered him to undergo drug rehabilitation, according to state disciplinary records."
