$50 million tax debt for convicted steroid dealers.

Story from the Daily Comet.

During their original trial five years ago the Louisianan father and son team admitted to earning just $50,000 per month selling the steroids online but somehow ended up with a tax bill from the government for close to $50 million, they are currently trying to fight this in court claiming it's a cruel and unusual punishment.

Under the illegal substance tax law drug dealers are required to buy stamps to prove they have paid taxes on drugs despite their status as an illegal substance. The stamps which dealers can purchase anonymously must be placed directly on the drugs.

Strange as this sounds approx 30 US states have adopted this legislation although some states have declared the illegal substance tax as a violation of constitutional rights.
