"Police seized more than $68,000 in cash, a loaded handgun and steroids and amphetamines in a series of searches in Melbourne's south-east. As part of a planned operation, officers from the Moorabbin Regional Response Unit stopped a car travelling along Station St in Carrum about 2.30pm.
In that search the officers found $68,000 in cash and arrested the two occupants of the car, a 28-year-old male and a 25-year-old female who are believed to have lived together. After searching the pair's Patterson Lakes house, police uncovered a large amount of steroids.
A second car was stopped by police about 15 minutes later, and the male occupants, a 19-year-old and a 23-year-old both from Dandenong addresses, both were found to be carrying a large amount of steroid tablets.
"The arrests and seizures we hope have interrupted the flow of amphetamines and steroids to Melbourne's south east which is only a good thing as these drugs cause significant harm to the youth,'' he said.
Sadly no pics of the steroids they found, I was interested to see what brand they would be.
