British man jailed for steroid supply.
A former Cumbrian bodybuilder has been sent to prison for two-and-a-half years for supplying illegal anabolic steroids.
Jack McIntosh, 24, who grew up in Kirkby Stephen, was jailed at Carlisle Crown Court after admitting conspiring to supply the class C controlled drugs.
He also admitted trying to pervert the course of justice by giving the police his girlfriend’s mobile phone for examination after his arrest and pretending it was his.
Another man – Andrew Quarry, 27, of Barn Holme, Kendal – was given a 12-month sentence, suspended for two years, and ordered to do 200 hours community work after he also pleaded guilty to the conspiracy.
