Icelandic customs reports steroid seizures on the rise.

Icelandic customs authorities at Keflavík International Airport report a considerable increase in the illegal importation of steroids, both in liquid and tablet form, to Iceland in the last six months. Last week, customs seized around a liter of steroids—enough for 2,000 dosages—which was sent to Iceland by post, the package which was marked as containing nut oil. In November, a man was caught with 35,000 steroid tablets and 500 ampoules arriving at Keflavík International Airport. Packages containing steroids were also among those seized by customs in the lead-up to Christmas. A man in his seventies was recently stopped by Icelandic customs authorities at Keflavík International Airport on suspicion of being in possession of illegal drugs. Police seized 70,000 dosages of steroids and other illegal drugs in his luggage. The man was previously caught for having tried to smuggle 800 Kamagra (erection dysfunction) tablets to Iceland.
